About BornTall Digital

A small team
that builds AI
for small teams.

Bucks County-based. Twenty-five years building software and running operations for businesses across the country. We do not show up with a deck and leave you with a roadmap. We show up, watch how you work, and build the thing that actually fixes the problem.

The BornTall approach
Week one, every engagement
· Why we exist

We got tired of watching good businesses get bad AI advice.

25+

We started seeing the same pattern across the region: small businesses — manufacturers, law firms, HVAC companies, accounting shops — getting pitched enterprise AI with enterprise price tags and enterprise timelines. Twelve-week discovery phases. Six-figure implementation budgets. A 200-slide deck as the deliverable.

Most of them walked away. A few bought in, waited six months, and got something that sort of worked but nobody wanted to maintain.

BornTall exists because there is a better way: start small, prove it works, expand from there. A working agent in production by day 30. A number on the wall that shows what it saved. No mystery about what runs where or whose data goes where.

Week 1
We sit on the warehouse floor
Shadow the work, read the inbox, watch where the hours go. We have never once left a week-one engagement with the same list of priorities we walked in with.
Day 30
First agent is live
Not a prototype behind a login. A real thing, in production, that the people doing the actual job are actually using. Monitored, logged, and supported.
Month 12
The system knows your business
Twelve months of monthly tuning, eval runs, and quiet expansion. By the end of year one, the agents we built are faster, sharper, and cheaper to run than when we started.
· How we operate

Four things we will not negotiate on.

These are not brand values on a poster in the office. They are the things we have agreed to fire a client over, if it comes to that.

01

We do the week one.

Every engagement starts with a full week on-site — or close to it. No surveys, no intake forms, no 45-minute discovery calls. We watch people work. That is how we learn what is actually worth building.

02

We build the smallest useful thing first.

Not the most impressive thing. Not the most technically interesting thing. The thing that saves time or money for the person doing the actual job — and that we can get into their hands in two weeks.

03

We are honest when AI is the wrong answer.

Three workflows we killed last quarter were good ideas on paper and the wrong solution in practice. We told our clients before we built them. That is the only thing that makes the relationship worth having.

04

We stay.

An agent in production without someone watching it is a liability. Every engagement includes a service plan — monthly tuning, eval runs, and a real person to call when something breaks. We do not hand off and disappear.

· The team

Small on purpose.

We are not a staffing firm or a scaled agency. We stay lean so every client gets sustained attention from the people who know the work cold — not a project manager relaying messages to someone else.

01

We stay on the work.

Every engagement is handled by the same people from week one through production. You are not handed off to a junior team after the kickoff call.

02

We have done this for a long time.

Over 25 years of building software and running operations for businesses across the country. The AI is new. The discipline behind it is not.

03

We are small because we choose to be.

We take on a deliberate number of clients so each one gets real attention. When you email us, you hear back from the person doing the actual work.

04

We cover both sides.

AI practice and custom software under one roof. No finger-pointing between the AI team and the dev team — it is the same team, with the same goal.

· Track record

Numbers from the work, not the pitch.

We are a small shop, so every number here represents something we can point to — not an average across 200 accounts.

Bucks County-rooted

Twenty-five years building software and running operations for businesses across the country, with deep roots in the Northeast. We know the industries, the operators, and the pace. No handoffs to a team in another time zone.

· 02

U.S.-based team

Every person who touches your project is based locally. No overseas handoffs, no time-zone scrambles, no explaining your business to a different person each week.

· 03

Fixed numbers, not estimates

After week one, you get a fixed price for each deliverable. No time-and-materials invoices, no scope surprises. If we underestimate, that is our problem — not yours.

· What clients say

The honest version.

They rebuilt how we operate from the ground up. Receiving inspection, delivery flow, job tracking — it all runs through one system now. What used to take two people and a stack of clipboards at every job gets handled in under an hour. We are running the same volume with a fraction of the admin overhead we had before.

Orders used to land in someone's inbox and sit there until a person touched them. Now the agent reads the email, pulls what it needs from Sage, enriches the data, and sends back a PO — without anyone getting involved unless something flags. What took close to two hours per order is done in five minutes.

They built us a control tower — every piece of business intelligence we had, finally in one place. Then the AI agent. Credit report capture, dispute processing, all of it automated. We went from maybe 40 disputes a day to over 200. My team is doing real work now instead of copying data between screens.
